Post-Graduate Certificate course in Health and Family Welfare Management through Distance learning

This contact class programme is held under NIHFW New Delhi. The objectives of the Programme is to enable the candidates to:-

01.Describe the existing structure and functioning of the health system as a health manager
02.Identify the managerial problems and processes associated with the system.
03.Utilise various management concepts / techniques / tools and resources to improve the functioning of the system.
04.Apply the managerial skills to develop the health system.

Eligibility criteria:

Candidates with permanent registration certificate and MBBS degree as approved by the Medical Council of India / State medical Council.

Candidates may obtain Prospectus for the course from the Section Officer(Acad.) NIHFW by sending a crossed Indian Postal Order or Bank draft for Rs. 100/- payable to Director, NIHFW, Munirka, New Delhi-110 067.


Two contact programmes of total ten days duration are held during the course. The first contact programme is held at FWT&RC (one of the four centers) and the second contact programme at NIHFW, New Delhi.
